A Nigerian from the ancient city of Kano. I have a multi-disciplinary background with first degrees in Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and LLB from University of London. I earned an MSc in Finance as a Chevening Scholar from Lancaster University, England and have further postgraduate degrees from Bayero University, Heriot Watt University and the University of Sussex. I am also a fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, a Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers and a Member of Society of Petroleum Engineers.
I worked in Citibank Nigeria for over 10 years before leaving to pursue a Masters degree at Lancaster University. On returning, I joined Total E & P Nigeria Limited, an Oil & Gas company, where I was involved in Financing of Projects, Managing Partners & Authorities, Local Content Development and Project Management and Control for 12 years. I left Total in 2016.
I enjoy reading, writing, traveling and watching great football especially La Liga.
